Kris Peeraer has studied Communication Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. After working as an insurance broker for several years, he decided to orient his professional career towards sales of technical products. He joined a small engineering and consulting company where he worked as a technical sales manager. In 2000 he founded the company K. Peeraer BVBA/Polytec Benelux that provides solutions for laser vibrometry. After almost 20 years of experience in technical sales and vibrometry, this resulted in a vast network of satisfied customers.
Quite often, a customer needs a complete solution: from hardware to measuring, to analyzing and interpreting signals. Some companies encounter a lot of the problems that go along with R&D, production and process optimization, but lack the expertise to solve these issues. That’s where we can step in and offer a solution from A to Z.
Later, the Oros Data Acquisition portfolio was also added to the distributorship in Flanders. In 2009, he took another challenge and started the company Industrial Sensors International. He now has an exclusive distributorship in Europe for Jasch Gauging Systems, performing thickness measurements for metals, plastics and paper business.
With his company, Kris Peeraer has supported and organised various workshops and conferences as for example Optimess, Photomechanics, Eurodyn, and of course Measuring By Light. “I am proud of where we stand today with Measuring By Light. We have organised many successful editions since 2013. I’ve met very interesting people and worked with outstanding companies. Without them, this would never have been possible. I am convinced that MBL 2022 will be an exceptional edition.
