Jacob Hoogenboom is an associate professor and group leader at the Delft University of Technology. His research aims at innovations in integrated light and electron microscopy for unraveling material and molecular function in biology, nanoscience, and nanophotonics. He is co-founder of Delmic, a scale-up located in Delft, that targets powerful and user-friendly solutions for integrated light and electron microscopy. Jacob is executive board member of the Netherlands Electron Microscopy Infrastructure and member of the NWO research committee Physics for Technology and Instrumentation.
