Charles Snyers received his Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain in 2016. In 2017 he joined Safran Aero Boosters in Liège, Belgium, as R&T Engineer. From January to December 2019, he worked as a graduate trainee at the European Space Agency in Cologne, Germany.
In 2020 he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel where he is currently a PhD student in the Additive Manufacturing Research Lab. His work focuses on leveraging Machine Learning to optimize and control a Metal Additive Manufacturing process.
