René Eisermann
Field Of Expertise: Fiber Optics
René Eisermann is a research scientist at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt.
He graduated in engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Brandenburg and in physics at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus.
Since 2010 he works in the field of photonic integrated circuits and fibre optical sensing.
He joined PTB in 2019 and his research focus on the application of fibre optical sensing for localized and distributed sensing.
At the moment he coordinates the non-distributed fibre sensing work in the project EU project INFOTherm.

Abstract: 'Accuracy and repeatability of sapphire fibre Bragg grating based temperature measurement with automated mode mixing'
