Nicolas Roisin
Field Of Expertise: Material Testing

Nicolas Roisin received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, in 2019, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree as a teaching assistant with the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Electronics and Applied Mathematics (ICTEAM), under the supervision of Prof. D. Flandre and Prof. J.-P. Raskin. His research includes the design and analysis of optoelectronic material and devices for photodetection applications, with special dedication to strain engineering as enhancement technique.

Abstract: 'First-principles prediction of the Raman shift in silicon for major strain configurations'
