Navid Hasheminejad is an FWO postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Antwerp. His research primarily focuses on exploring the mechanical properties of materials through optical measurement systems. He is currently leading the BITuminous Mortars: an Accelerated testing APproach (BITMA²P) project, funded by his FWO junior postdoctoral fellowship. In addition to his own research, Navid supervises two PhD projects: one on characterizing asphalt pavement properties using fiber Bragg technology, and another on investigating fatigue and healing in bituminous materials using digital image correlation.
The unique multidisciplinary conference where industry and academics come together to discuss applications and solutions of optical measurement techniques.
