In 2015, Kristina Tolchkova completed initial Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National Gubkin-University of Oil and Gas, Moscow, Russia. Working as an engineer from 2015 to 2019, she gained valuable practical experience. In 2021, she pursued a second Master’s degree, reaffirming her academic dedication. It was during this period that she decided to devote her life to research in optical turbulence and laser Doppler vibrometry. Currently she is a Ph. D. candidate at the department of applied metrology at the Institute of Electrical Information Technology of the TU Clausthal where she contributs actively to the advancement of knowledge in this specialized field.
