Bogdan Vasilescu occupies a postdoctoral position at Technische Universiteit Delft (TU Delft) in Space Instrumentation at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. He holds a PhD in Space Instrumentation. His area of interest includes space optics, polarimetry, and spectropolarimetry. During his Master’s (Space Sciences – University of Liege) and PhD studies, he focused on developing a new method for snapshot polarisation measurement at different wavelengths. His current activity continues this research, pursuing the realization of snapshot imaging spectropolarimetry based on the new polarisation measurement method.
