Benjamin van Elburg was born on September 17, 1991. He pursued his academic career at the University of Twente, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Applied Physics.
Following his master’s degree, he continued his research endeavours, culminating in a PhD in Physics in 2024. His doctoral dissertation focused on the topic of ultrasound contrast agents, where he developed and characterized novel agents.
Currently, Benjamin van Elburg works as a Research and Development Engineer at the Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR), where he is primarily involved with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). His specialization lies in laser ultrasonics and the analysis of ultrasonic data.
