Alberto Martín-Pérez
Field Of Expertise: Microsystems

Alberto Martín-Pérez is PhD in applied physics. His scientific career has been devoted to the development of novel techniques for the detection and characterization of different microbiological entities by means of measuring their physical properties. All his career long, Martín-Pérez has worked in different high-level European research institutions such as the Spanish National Research Council and the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) while his work has been recognized with different prizes such as the award to the most relevant PhD thesis done at the Spanish National Research Council. Currently he works at TU Delft leading his own project funded by the EU (PROPHOTOM – 101104522) targeted to measure the interaction between light, two dimensional materials, and biomolecules.
